The first collimator sight to be offered by the Vortex brand, which uses aUTO D-TEC solar technology, providing up to 150,000 hours of operation!
Vortex Sparc Solar is designed for long gun use m.in. aR15 carbines, semi-automatic rifles, PCC carbines.
Changes from the classic version of the Sparc sight:
- smaller and lighter design - only 167 g
- solar-assisted power supply AUTO D-TEC
- uptime up to 150,000 hours
- powered by CR2032 batteries
- motion sensor that activates the viewfinder after automatic shutdown (after 14 hours)
- greater range of aiming point adjustment - 100 MOA vertically and horizontally
Lightweight design
- The body of the sight is made of aerospace aluminum using a precision milling method. Thanks to the shortened body length, the device also has a lighter design weighing just 167 g.
- Vortex Sparc Solar guarantees "stable zero holding", the optics are free of parallax error, and thanks to its unlimited eye relief it can be used on hunting rifles, AR carbines and semi-automatic shotguns.
Optics
- The viewfinder uses lenses with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings, applied to all air-glass boundaries. Thanks to them, the collimator provides high light transmission, the image seen is clear and high-contrast, as well as free of parallax error.
Optimal aiming point
- A 2 MOA red dot is used for aiming, with vertical and horizontal adjustment of up to 100 MOA. Each click of the drum changes the position of the aiming point by 1MOA.
- The MOA-sized dot does not obscure the target, so it will be perfect for both precision and dynamic shooting. The viewfinder also has a wide brightness range ie. 10 day settings and 2 night settings - night vision compatible.
- To operate the collimator, there are 2 flat buttons responsible for switching on/off and changing the brightness level, and open reels for adjusting the position of the aiming point.
AUTO D-TEC solar technology
- Sparc Solar has two forms of power: using a monocrystalline solar cell (main power supply) and a disposable CR2032 battery.
- Thanks to Auto D-TEC technology, when there is not enough sunlight the power supply automatically, switches and draws power from CR2032 batteries.
- Under most daytime (outdoor) conditions, the Sparc Solar collimator will operate solely on solar energy. The combination of two power systems provides up to 150,000 hours of battery life at a brightness setting of 6.
- The impressive runtime of the viewfinder is also due to the use of a motion sensor, which, when there is no motion activity, turns off the power of the collimator (after 14 hours) and puts the device into sleep mode.
- Re-engaging the aiming mark requires only moving the weapon. If targeting is manually disabled, the motion sensor does not activate the device.
Accessories included
- The set includes lens caps, torx multifunction wrench, cleaning cloth, CR2032 battery, and 2 mounts: high 1/3 co-witness for carbines, and low recommended for shotguns.
